Our Story

Monterey Touring Vehicles was founded in 2018, and is the only company on California’s Central Coast that provides the opportunity to rent classic and vintage cars. We are a local, woman-owned company that wants to ensure that whether you are a local or visiting our beautiful area, your experience becomes a memory you will never forget!

Heather’s vision of offering the chance to drive a classic car down the coast came to fruition after seeing how much her own out-of-town guests enjoyed taking their ’69 Mercury Cougar to Big Sur, or their ’78 VW Superbeetle to lunch in Carmel. She asked herself “why isn’t anyone offering this service?”. So, the collecting began!

Our small but mighty crew has evolved over the years. Other than ensuring that the cars are safe, we try not to take ourselves too seriously! The MTV team loves to participate in community events, and we always find a way to have fun!
