Precious Pacific Grove

The drive from Monterey to Cannery Row to Lover’s Point ending at Asilomar Beach is some of the most beautiful coastline in California. But don’t miss the sweet downtown Pacific Grove! PG (as the locals call it) has been called “Butterfly Town U.S.A.,” “The Most Romantic City in the U.S.,” and “A Dreamy California Destination”. In addition to PG’s scenic beauty, adorable locally-owned shops and restaurants and idyllic neighborhoods are the brightly colored orange-and-black Monarch butterflies, who overwinterbetween November and February in Pacific Grove after traveling up to 2,000 miles.
